Interior painting
I can carry out all forms of interior painting… applying emulsions to ceilings and walls, eggshell, satin and gloss to woodwork and enamel paints to radiators and other metal items. I can restore any timber detailing such as picture and dado rails, skirting, staircase spindles, etc… as well as minor repairs to plastering.
Exterior painting
I can carry out all forms of exterior painting… applying masonry paints to rendered walls and concrete sills, weathershield paints to soffits, fascias, windows, sills, doors, frames, porches, etc… and preservative woodstains to fences, sheds, summerhouses, etc…
Repair and restoration of rotten or decayed timber
If you have discovered or suspect that rot is present in one of your homes many timber features – either a window, sill, door, frame, porch, etc… - while in some cases it will be necessary to replace the whole unit, often it can be repaired. Or simply restored if the damage is minor. Modern high quality resin products mean that repairs can last for several years and therefore extend the life of the unit for a fraction of the cost of replacement… For example a new timber window can cost anything up to £1000-1500+ (EXCLUDING fitting!) whereas a repaired unit would be £200-400.
Painting repaired / replaced timber
As well as carrying out any necessary repairs I can also paint the unit to a high quality finish. This means a full process of applying exterior grade primer, undercoat and top coat paints to look as good as new.
Kitchen worktop restoration and refinishing
I can refresh the look of your tired, worn (or in many cases sticky!) solid wood kitchen worktop by stripping and sanding away the existing finish and applying high quality oils that will revitalise and protect the wood
Decking restoration and staining
I can refresh the look of your tired and faded decking, removing all moss and dirt with specialised cleaning solutions and a pressure washer, before refinishing with any of the various coloured and anti-slip stains now available.
